  1. Thanks Callaway for the free resources and game!!!!

    About Robert Gundry.

I am more familiar with him with regard to Gospel studies, Historical Scholarship, and Eschatological position. I know nothing of his exegetical/expositional method or abilities?

In 1982 he wrote Matthew: A Commentary on His Literary and Theological Art. The conclusions and research in here were monumental to the ETS and Evangelical world during a Congruent/Post-George Ladd era. He eviscerated the Matthean narrative of its historicity and finding many harmonious errors with the other synoptic gospels.

Following this, in 1983, he was voted out of ETS due to his views of inerrancy. Something to be mindful of, his work and views of inerrancy are nearly the accepted norm in Gospel studies and ETS.

His eschatological views were near the end of the Ladd-Walvard Rapture debates. He penned Church and the Tribulation: A Biblical Examination of Post-Tribulationalism. Outside of Douglas Moo's article in the Three Views of the Rapture, this is a book filled with great arguments and data by a Post-Trib proponent.

However, I would have zero knowledge of his exegetical method. His Matthew commentary, of which I have worked with, deals very little with exegesis!
