Keepin' it Strange

Our students love playing games together, especially outside. Of course we have fun playing all the usual games (football, Frisbee, etc). However, as a student pastor, I think it is my duty to provide them with fun, goofy, strange, out the ordinary, “what in the world is that thing?” games. I found this link to The Top 5 Yard Games to play before club each week or any other time with the students. http://younglifeleaders.blogspot.com/2011/04/doing-club-outdoors-part-2-yard-games.html

  1. Sorry for all the emails about this post. The picture i put in was just messing up the previous posts. Sheesh. So much for a little picture in there.

Yeah, i know youth ministry is not supposed to be all fun and games. But it better be some fun and games!

Seriously though, check out the ideas on that blog. Fun stuff!

  2. Here is another resource for you:

This website is more like a second hand store - you have to pick through before you come to something good, but there is great stuff to be found. This was developed by Jonathan McKee. I don't know too much about him, he seems to be more on the happy slappy side of things - which makes him a great resource for Keepin' it Strange.

    Thanks Andrew
